Here I take my Kindle for Mac app as an example.

I open one book via the app, and then click the book to open it. Next, select the texts I want to copy and choose “Copy” in the toolbar that appears.

Then I paste the texts to the Notes app on my Mac.

Method 3. Convert an entire kindle book to txt for re-editing (from DRMed into a non-DRM format)

If the nature of the text is disposable, like a short note or a piece of news that doesn’t need to be kept for a long time, I recommend you try the above 2 methods. Otherwise, if it is long and has retention value, you somehow need to go into this Kindle Converter and tweak each and every word.
